Overall Synopsis

What would you do if you knew that your time in life is ticking away by the minute? A mysterious "referee" appears in front of individuals in their dying moments while living their usual lives, and announces the exact amount of time they have left to live. Synopsis

Nakayama Haruhiko is a new cameraman who'd feel fulfilled if he could die on the job. His only interest is to be ahead of everyone at accidents or disasters, disregarding his own safety to click that one photo which transmits the sense of immediacy. Getting a lead that a there's a drug dealing going down, he sneaks into a certain club. Coming face to face with a scary fellow, he runs but gets fired on by another man in the alley

Synopsis

Ihara is a housewife who's good at being frugal. While doing housework, she happens to glance at a supermarket ad for beef on sale. She wants that beef to make real sukiyaki and not the usual pork sukiyaki for her family, and speeds on her bicycle to get there ahead of her neighbors. Taking a side road shortcut, a poster with a woman in a kimono advertising an exhibition sale catches her eye and she falls down the steps.

Synopsis

Nurse Matsunaga Yukiko is devastated when she finds out her lover Makino whom she thought would marry her in fact has a fiancee. She jumps off the hospital rooftop to kill herself and as she falls, the referees suddenly appear and her loss-time begins. But she has no idea what soccer rules are and having no desire to live, she brushes aside the referees and returns to the rooftop. There she finds Omoto Yuzo just about ready to jump to his death.
